Magnetic Dots for Back Pain Relief

In the past, back pain relief involved potentially dangerous medications, messy ointments or heating pads that offered very little true comfort.

With the alternative health treatment of magnetic therapy, practitioners of holistic and alternative health care believe magnetic therapy can help to stop the pain at the source.

As tension or stress develops in the body, it sends messages to your brain which results in your feeling pain. Proper use of magnetic therapy can help disrupt the transmissions of these messages before they reach your brain and the back pain begins.

Use the illustration as a placement guide for magnetic therapy as an alternative health treatment for relief of back pain.

For back and abdominal muscle weakness, to tone and strengthen the lower back, place magnetic dots on Point A, two finger widths directly below the belly button.

For relief of sciatica, strained back muscles and the fatigue that often results from the pain, place magnetic dots on Point B, on the lower back (between the second and third lumbar vertebrae) two to four finger widths away from the spine at waist level.

Place magnetic dots on Point C for back and pelvic tension, hip pain and soreness, one to two finger widths outside the sacrum (the large bony area at the base of the spine) and midway between the top of the hipbone and the base of the buttocks.

For back pain, sciatica, knee pain, back stiffness, and arthritis in the knees, back, and hips use magnetic dots on Point D In the center of the back of the knee crease.

As with any alternative medical treatment, consult your physician before beginning magnetic therapy.
